Hi River,

Congrats on your new Instant Pot and thank you for your question 🙂

1 cup will work just fine for the Instant Pot DUO60 v3.

Take care & have fun cooking

Just got my IP (duo 6qt v3) and the manual recommends 500ml of liquid as a minimum. I was thinking of trying your chicken recipe as my starter recipe. Can I use only 1 cup? If I use 2 cups of liquid won’t this impact cooking time?
Thanks,
River

Hi Lisa,

thank you for your question 🙂

Chicken tenderloins will take 3 minutes and 8 minutes release.

Take care!

Hi Camille,

Congrats on your new Instant Pot and thank you for your question 🙂

The cooking time will remain unchanged if the chicken breasts are not packed tightly together.

It looks great! I’m new to the IP and am wondering if I can double the amount of chicken and if so, what the difference might be for the cooking time? TIA!5 stars

Hi Lavina,

This is a great question. All the recipes are tested with thawed meat.
However, most of the recipes will work for frozen meat with no extra time or 1 – 3 minutes extra time.

We hope to write a guide on frozen meat. Too many things to write and too little time!!

Have fun cooking!

I wanted to ask, I noticed on your link to 7 reasons you need a pressure cooker, one of the reasons is no need to thaw meat. So are there recipes which you have tested without thawing meat?

Thanks so much
