I used a piece of mozzarella string cheese instead of having to cut a block of cheese. Also, in Missouri, I used a piece of hillbilly bacon on top instead of wrapping it in bacon. I did follow a suggestion to use chicken broth in the bottom, and then I added corn starch and lemon juice to make a great sauce. The dish was easy to cook in the instant pot one day, put it in the refrigerator and serve it the next day. I put the rolls in a foil covered dish cold before an event in the morning with some of the broth, let it sit in a 170 degree oven while we were gone, and it was perfect when we got home. Plated and sliced in the kitchen making it a great presentation. I poured a little of the sauce I had made over it after slicing and it was moist and succulent. Thanks. The whole family loved it. Used chicken stock rather than water and made a sauce by thickening the instant pot liquid. Also used prosciutto rather than bacon to keep the fat content down. Hi Mary,

To reheat with bacon, the best way is to start with a cold pan over medium heat.

The fat from the bacon will slowly render out to heat up the inside and allow the bacon to become brown and crisp.

I liked the idea that I could make it ahead of time. I wrapped it tightly in foil and refrigerated it until about 1 hour before, put it in a warm oven, and then browned it with bacon on the stove. It was still cool inside so put it back in the oven. Unfortunately the chicken was very dry. How do you get it warm after making it ahead of time. I have tried many of your recipes and love them all. Thank you.
