Ok I have already rates this recipe 5 stars…it’s our favorite. So I decided to do this with chicken thighs and it was great! I did it with bone in and cooked it for 5 minutes and natural release. Topped it with chili crisp and ate it with bok choy that I sauteed in the sauce and jasmine rice. Was delicious!

The sauce is delicious. I modified with pork shoulder and increased the pressue cook time to 45 min. My family loved it.

I made this for a potluck celebration to honor my husband. After he had his second serving at home, he said he would buy something for me in place of this dish because he wanted to keep it at home for himself to eat! I really appreciate your recipes, they’re easy to follow and make. Cheesecake 17 is a real hit, too!

We love Amy and Jacky’s Taiwanese Braised Pork and eat it often. We decided to use it in our bahn mi sandwiches and it was amazing! We prefer a well marbled pork shoulder instead of pork belly for ours, but both are good! Thanks A&J!

I tried quite a few pork belly recipes but this one was by far the best, comforting, balanced in flavor version yet. I’ll be making this recipe only from now on.
