I use a Fagor Duo on my Iwatani.
Was feeling a bit under the weather last week so someone told me make congee. Looked up your instructions and it was most tasty and fulfilling. It’s nice to have something easy to digest when not feeling so well.I Felt better the next day.

I’ve been making your recipe since you first posted it, along with some others, but this is the one I’ve made almost weekly!
We like to add things similar to others when cooking and serving as well, but some of my favorite “toppings bar” items to serve it with are preserved duck eggs, soft boiled/onsen/fried eggs, pickled vegetables, kimchi, green onion, cilantro, fried garlic and shallots, furikake, seaweed sheets, sesame oil and chili crisp. It’s perfect as a main dish, but also pairs great with a fatty/oily dish to balance it out. We especially love it with any pork belly dish lol!
I love seeing everyone from guests to the grandbabies get so excited to make their own bowl and sit down to hear them say “omg this is so good!” every other bite! Thank you many times over for the great recipes that bring us all comfort and happiness!

This was SO simple to make & delicious!! I have a ton of food issues, but tolerate chicken and rice well. Was looking for something different and couldn’t be happier, my sensitive gut thanks you!!!

Ho aggiunto una foglia di alloro e del pepe nero ed una scorza di limone ed aglio all’acqua con pollo e riso. Quindi avviata la cottura. Al termine insaporito con della salsa di pesce ed olio di sesamo. SPECIALE !

OMG this is amazing, I did add some Roast Chicken Better than Bullion (just a teaspoon) & some black garlic to the water when starting the pressure cooking process. I served with an egg, cilantro, spring onions, sesame oil & some siracha sauce. SO DELICIOUS!
