I lazily threw some green beans on top of the potatoes in the steamer basket and pulled them back out before mashing the potatoes. They were softer than I usually cook green beans, but delicious, especially after mixing in some of the garlic butter I reserved. Served with sausages. Most satisfying 20 minute meal I can remember making!5 stars

Only difference is I left the skin on and added a tiny bit of cheese. Amy + Jacky once again helped me out in another time crunch.5 stars

Used 5 lbs Yukon Gold but still with just 1 cup water. Drained before mashing. Just added butter, milk, and s&p. Maybe next time I’ll try the garlic mixture. Nice not to have potatoes boiling over on the stove! 🙂5 stars

Hi Karen,

Thank you for your comment 🙂

If the potatoes are bigger than 300g each, you may need to cut them into smaller pieces (instead of quarters).

Hope you & yours stay safe & well during this unusual time.
Please take care,
Jacky

Recommend adding 2 more minutes to cooking time.4 stars

Hello,

Sorry to hear about your frustration with your Faberware pressure cooker.
Were the potatoes whole and really large?

Please take care
Jacky
