You’ve made virtually convenient to make a very important but complex food product that’s cost prohibitive to most of us in the stores. Thanks so much, again!5 stars

Hi Robin,

thank you for your kind words and question 🙂

Rosemary and thyme pairs well with Bone Broth.

It’s a personal preference on how much herbs you want to use.

I recommend starting with 3 sprigs fresh rosemary and 3 sprigs thyme. Tie them together in a bundle and place into the Instant Pot.

I love your recipes and instructions! Thank you so very much for your wonderful site!

I found I had this question for a few recipes on this site, and I searched, but could not find the answer, so thought I would take the plunge and ask it here.

Can you please tell me what you mean by “Your favorite fresh or dried herbs”. With no quantity, and with not being sure which herbs might go best with a mixture of different types of bones, Iʻm sort of lost on this. Would you please add a little more detail for this ingredient – both in quantity and type?

Thank you very much for your kind attention to my question.

Hi Paul,

thank you for your kind words and question 🙂

You can do that in the beginning or just remove any impurities/oil after pressure cooking.

This recipe seems really great!

Would like to clarify please: is there a need to briefly boil the bones for a few mins in the pressure cooker to get rid of impurities?
I usually do it for 5 mins on high, dump out water (wash the bones), but it is not included here..?

Thank you! 😊
