I love split pea soup. I always use the recipe on the package but I decided to try something different. This is by far way better than the one on the package and other recipes I tried. I use my immersion blender because this is how I liked it. Cooked potatoes and carrots in a small pot then added to the soup. Thanks for this delicious recipe. I use the Ninja Foodi Deluxe.

Made kombucha squash soup in the IP for lunch today, but…I had brought up a ham stock and turkey stock from the freezer. So I made the split pea with ham soup for supper! Hadn’t made it before, so good!

Very delicious! This is the first time that I have ever made pea soup! This really was the best recipe to try for my first time making it. So easy!! Everyone in my family loved it too. I ran out of thyme so I substituted herbs de Provence and it tasted great. I used a leftover piece of boneless ham I had. This recipe is most definitely a keeper!

This is my go-to pea soup recipe! I make it exactly as is and it’s perfect. I’ve experimented with other pork but keep coming back to the ham hock. I serve it with corn muffins and it’s a complete meal.
