Thanx to Jacky & Amy. I added a little rum to lessen the eggy smell of the cream br没l茅e, and used monk fruit sweetener instead of white sugar.5 stars

I followed the directions exactly and it was so delicious. I tried other recipes for creme brulee that did not turn out very well. This creme brulee was perfect!5 stars

For the first time I actually compared the milliliters of the recipe to that on my 2 cup container of heavy cream. You call for 500ml but my container says 473ml. I realize that 27ml is not really significant but just wondered where the difference came from. Thanks.

BTW, big kudos for actually including weights on recipes, I hate it when it says something like 3 large handfuls of lettuce. Hey! Shaq! Hand me three handfuls of lettuce please!5 stars

Hi Ryan,

Thank you for your question 馃檪
Since the surface area will increase, it is best to shorten the cooking time. Perhaps reduce by 3 – 4 minutes.

Take care & have fun cooking
Jacky

I didn’t see this question posted. Can I follow the cook time as is if I use “shallow” 6 oz. ramekins. I’m concerned since these aren’t as thick as the ones you used, the cooking time would have to be adjusted. What do you think? Thanks! -Ryan

6 servings came out to probably what a single cr猫me br没l茅e costs at a fancy restaurant.
Your website always has some inspiration when I am looking for new things to cook馃挏5 stars
