Turned out perfectly tender. Definitely recommend a generous squeeze of lemon juice on the artichokes and in the cooking water.

As an 8.5 decade Californian, loved artichokes my entire life. Have used pressure cookers for many, many years, but your method, IP, was simplest and quickest. It seems most California’s prefer a mayonnaise dip…i certainly did for years. I tried it once without any dip, and oh! The artichoke flavor was so good! Since that time, i use no dips…i prefer the wonderful taste of pure artichoke! Thank you for the recipes and instructions…5 stars

I always seem to end up with quite large artichokes and mine always take about 20-25mins (untrimmed). I usually quick release at that point, myself. Maybe yours are just really large and need more time, too.
