Rice is deceptively challenging to get right. Based on your recipe, we’ve added sea salt and replaced 1 tablespoon of water per cup of rice with butter or truffle oil, depending on which cuisine we were matching the rice with. The result is perfection. Thank you for making our life a little bit easier!

Love making Calrose rice in my IP! No guessing anymore and no mess to clean in the microwave.
Serving with grilled teriyaki chicken thighs. I use option #4. Doubled the recipe tonight. Stir completely with big serving fork after 10 min NR and then cover with lid and warm function still on while I finish the rest of dinner

I live at altitude (6,400 feet) and have struggled with rice. Tried it in the Instant Pot for the first time last night and it was night and day. I used the recommended water portion from above and didn’t soak or rinse the rice beforehand.

Doubled the portion and followed the instructions exactly and the rice came out perfect!! My first time cooking medium grai rice and not my last – I used a philips all in one cooker and followed the same settings!

CALROSE RICE IS GREAT TEXTURE AND JUST STICKY ENOUGH FOR MY TASTE. IT HAS THE LOWEST AMOUNT OF PESTICIDES AND OTHER CHEMICALS. LOWEST AVAILABLE IN THIS COUNTRY. 1 CUP DONE IN 10 MINUTES AND EASY TIMER TO USE.
