HOLY MOLY! Tonight’s dinner was Mushroom Soup cooked in my InstaPot. I prepared it as per the written recipe and instructions and in my opinion it is a fool proof recipe. Garnished with finely shaved parmesan, soooo good!

Wow! That is another flavour bomb! You did it again as always! The mushrooms still have a chew to them and I don’t like a thick soup was perfect. I used half and half. Thanks for another winning recipe!

I love this mushroom soup. I did use beef broth instead of the chicken and it is the most flavourful mushroom soup I have ever had. Thank-you Amy and Jacky for this delicious recipe.

This soup is so good! I didn’t use shiitake mushrooms, but used regular white mushrooms as well as a packaged variety of gourmet mushrooms I found at Kroger.
One question – Has anyone tried freezing the soup, does it separate due to the cream?

This recipe is loaded with a mixture of fresh mushrooms and rehydrated dried mushrooms to enhance the soup’s flavor. ⁣Secret ingredient: Amy + Jacky recipes are known for adding Fish Sauce and Soy Sauce to many of their recipes, and they were right. However, the soup did not taste fishy at all!⁣

The only modification I made was substituting coconut milk for the heavy cream; the soup still had a nice creamy texture.⁣ Drizzle a little Truffle Oil onto the top of the mushroom soup before serving. Into mushroom soup? I highly recommend this recipe; it is simple, delicious, and quick in the Instant Pot.⁣
