This was OUTRAGEOUSLY delicious. The hardest part was finding pork neck bones (and they were so inexpensive!). I appreciate the weights, which I used rather than the quantities, which often did not match the weights for me. No quantity is provided for beansprouts; I used a 12 oz bag, adding 2/3 to the soup at step 6 and the rest when I put the pork bones back in at step 7. I cleaned the pork bones as described in step 2 and think this was definitely worth the minimal effort needed. Although the recipe will fit in a 6 qt Instant Pot, it was close, so I actually made it in an 8 quart, moved what remained into a 6 quart for reheating, and finally into a 3 quart to heat the last servings.

We followed the instructions pretty much to the letter (didn’t have perilla, but it worked out anyway) and the result was fantastic. The recipe and the use of the Instant Pot made great use of a very economical cut of meat (the pork neck bones). Thanks for sharing the recipe.

I made A&J’s gamjatang for dinner a few nights ago.Their recipe just never disappoints. I had some tofu in the fridge that I needed to use so threw it in during the sauté step. Love this

Last week, hubby came home with nappa and pork bones. I think it was his subtle way of telling me he wants Amy Jacky’s gamjatang. Love this recipe ❤️
