I’ve never made homemade sweet ‘n sour before, but the recipe was easy to follow and it turned out super delicious. My partner was never a big fan of pork chops, but this recipe has turned him around on that.

Greetings from the Pacific Northwest. Made this sweet and sour pork chops. I only made 2 pork chops, each about ¾ inch (2 cm) thick, approximately 8 ounces (225 grams) and used the full sauce recipe (for 4 pork chops) because I’m a “sauce” person. Needless to say there was a bit of leftover sauce; enough for another pork chop.

Pork chops were cooked as per instructions 1 minute high pressure and 10 minute natural release. The meat attached to the bone was moist but the balance of the meat was a bit drier in comparison but still tender. I didn’t have any tomato paste so I adjusted by adding more ketchup.

This is a good recipe with easy-to-follow instructions. Is there an Amy & Jacky recipe that isn’t?

Sweet ‘n Sour Pork Chops: Used 1 1/2 cups pineapple juice in place of water and pineapple, added an extra bell pepper. Yummy!

A+J Sweet & Sour Pork Chops, although I used diced pork & reduced the cooking time. I have made this recipe several times and we always enjoy it.

Double batch of Sweet ‘n Sour Pork Chops: Actually 9 thin ones in the double marinade, with 3 small diced tomatoes added to the main recipe. Yum! 😋 Love how quick it is and it does become one of our favorites!
