I wanted to thank Amy and Jacky for this delicious recipe! It was incredibly easy to make and tastes absolutely delicious. I added some pineapple because my kids love it, and it turned out fantastic. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and the dish was a hit for the whole family. I will definitely be making this again. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful recipe!

Hi Amy & Jacky, I have just bought a Phillips pressure cooker after eyeing it for a long time. This pork chop in HK Tomato sauce was the first recipe I cooked and it turned out soo good. Instant Pot Hong Kong Tomato Pork Chops, an absolute favourite of mine! Delicious tender pork chops (yes, tender!) in a rich mushroom tomato sauce. The flavour is unique compared to a lot of recipes I’ve tried. No spice, no dry chops, no overly tomato flavour. BUT there’s so much flavour in this sauce that it really brings this recipe alive. It’s the perfect Asian comfort food!

Last night’s Pork Chops in HK Tomato Sauce! I did like it but found it slightly sweeter than I like. I will reduce/omit the sugar if I make it again 😊

Today’s recipe is the tomato pork chop! Served with linguine and some leftover squash. The pork chop is also awesome over rice too! The pork chops are perfectly tender! Each time I make it I’m amazed 🤗

“HK Tomato Pork Chops”…Sorry for the lack of plating. I made this dish late at night, hence it’s pictured in a container to be put in the fridge. I didn’t add mushrooms (i ran out). I used bone-in and just tenderized around the bone (super important step). I kept the cooking time the same and chose not to thicken the sauce at the end. I’ve made this before and I felt the sauce was thick enough for me. It’s really sweet and yummy!!!
