I tried this tonight and I agree, it’s really good. Thanks for the tip about adding extra veggies. I did the same and will add even more next time. The amount of meat in the recipe can handle more veggies. There is a lot of ketchup in the recipe so I’d like to find a ketchup with less sugar.

Made this in my 8 qt Ninja XL 14-in-1 Pressure Cooker. The recipe is very forgiving and flexible for what you don’t have or need to substitute!

It’s “Make what you can with what you’ve got” week, so I made this with what I had in the fridge: one pound of thawed ground turkey and some random stale hamburger buns. I didn’t have a bell pepper so omitted and added closer to 2 tbsp tomato paste.

It turned out amazing!! Even with only one lb of meat, I did not have a need to saute it down to thicken up at all (perhaps because there was no bell pepper in there releasing its water?). Either way, this was a hit and so easy with to throw together. Will be making again!

My husband considers himself a sloppy Joe connaiseur. Just said these were the best ever. I only made one addition and added some chipotle sauce bc he loves spicy hot. I am now a believer in Amy & Jacky. Thank you for an awesome recipe!

I made this recipe per the recipe and it was delicious. I had people over for dinner and everyone loved it. I shared the recipe with my friends – one friend is even buying an Instant Pot now. It was so quick, the house smelled great and my husband was especially thankful we had leftovers.

I moved to the UK and crave sloppy joes randomly. This always does the trick. So good and now that I have found a good tater tot dup my little ones can have some good ol’ home meals like I did when I was little ❤️
