So delicious! The meat was tender and the gravy was bright and punchy. I forgot to add the soy sauce/Worcestershire/mustard to the pot before closing the lid to cook the meat so I added it at the end before the flour slurry and it worked out fine. Served with mashed potatoes and green beans with garlic and lemon. Really happy that we have leftovers for tomorrow!

Absolutely delicious. I’d made it once before and it was a hit, but there were no leftovers. So this time, I used 1lb gound pork with the 1lb ground beef, and doubled everything else as well. It was still a hit, and everyone is happy to have another serving of patties and gravy tomorrow.

Absolutely delicious and easy dinner that is family friendly. I’m trying to work my way through our nilgai meat and venison meat, and it worked great with both! For venison I’d do half beef half venison next time.

I LOVE this recipe! I’ve tried other recipes for Salisbury steak, and they do not come close to this recipe. It has so many layers of flavor. The first time I made this in my instapot, but I have a smaller sized one since I cook for two. We loved this so much, I started to not use my instapot so I could make more for leftovers. I use the recipe just as posted except I use 1/2 cup more of chicken stock. I use a good browning pan and use your instructions. I just cook it longer on the stove covered. It is just as delicious as using the instapot.

For an added layer of flavor & texture I and a 4 oz. can of ORTEGA Fire Roasted Diced Green Chiles, sometimes to the Salisbury Steak mixture or sometimes to the gravy.

Oh yeah, once again a delicious recipe. And once again I thank you for including weights. The smallest clove of garlic I had was 9g. If I’d done two I’d of had almost three times the garlic called for.
