I have made this dip about 10 times!! Everyone loves it and say it’s better than any restaurant spinach/artichoke dip. Whenever we go to a get together this is all I’m asked to make. I do add a bit of red pepper flakes , and everything else by the book. Thanks for the great recipe and simple directions!

Spinach Artichoke Dip: Sautéed Onion, Garlic and mixed w/ Spinach (squeezed dry), Artichokes (drained), cheeses in casserole dish. 1 cup water in pot, HP 12 mins NR 10 mins. Used tongs to tuck Silicone sling handles to sides. Topped w/ cheese. Unplug IP. Switch to Airfryer lid: Press Airfry 390 deg 4 mins to finish off. Tongs to pull out sling handles again. Cool 5 mins before carefully removing. Yum!

Happy New Year and thank you for your question 🙂

Without using the pot-in-pot method, the Instant Pot will not be able to generate enough steam to get up to pressure with the amount of liquid in this recipe.

Trying this recipe tomorrow! Very excited to taste. Just wondering why you decided to go with the pot-in-pot cooking method, rather than other recipes that just dump everything in?

In this particular recipe, you say to “air-fry” the dip for 8 min. Tip says 6-7 min + pre-heat time. Does this mean that pre-heat is only about 1-2 min?
