For the hummus blend the chickpeas, EV olive oil, lemon juice, a bit of chickpea water, garlic, roasted red peppers, 1-2 tablespoon of sriracha. Reserve some roasted peppers to put on top.

Never again. This recipe is so delicious and easy, there is no reason to use canned or buy store bought again. I added one extra garlic clove and a teaspoon of smoked paprika. I love hummus and this is as good as going to Israel and getting fresh hummus. Thank you for a great recipe that is easy, fast and oh, so delicious. I would give this 10 stars if I could.5 stars

I soaked my beans during the day for about 7 hours. When I cooked the beans I needed to add 5 more minutes cooking after the natural release – some were still hard. Rest of the recipe went fine. I love cooking beans in the Instant Pot but you have to check beans to be sure they are cooked properly. There are so many variables that effect cooking time. I should have soaked my chick peas longer.5 stars

This was very good. I accidentally forgot to include the garlic cloves that cooked with the chickpeas when I put them in the blender. Probably a good thing, as this recipe is definitely not for the garlic-fainted heart! Can see adding roasted red peppers to the mix in the future. I might cut back a bit on the garlic, and I do like garlic, but it is strong. Maybe I needed to let the cloves sit in the lemon juice longer. I am very happy with my first attempt and look forward to trying it again, and personalizing the recipe a bit to match my taste.

The recipe is so easy and it tastes so fresh. I was short on lemon and added a little pickle juice. So good! This is my kid’s school lunch because she asked for hummus.5 stars

I used the pre soaked chick peas and cooked 15 minutes with 20 minutes NR. Perfect. Drained and removed onion and bay leaves, and blended in the IP pot using immersion blender. Didn’t add raw garlic as my hubby isn’t a fan. The tahini blended right into the warm chickpeas, so easy. Made almost 4 cups, so freezing some. Will be my go to recipe for hummus from now on!

I knocked this back to six cloves rather than a whole head in the pot, and 5 rather than 6 in the lemon juice, and it was still a bit much. I’m wondering if anyone has tried whipping up some aquafaba from the cooking liquid and folding that into the hummus.5 stars
