The chicken was moist and very flavorful. This worked much better than my old recipe. Size note: The frozen breasts my wife brought home from Costco this time were not the big, thick monster sized ones I’m used to seeing. These were still large but pounded down to about 1/2″ thick. They cooked far more evenly than the super thick ones.5 stars

My very picky young kids gobble up this chicken. This is our go-to method and results in very flavorful and juicy chicken every time. By the way, I use fully thawed chicken breasts and they come out perfect. I did try them from frozen once and it didn’t work out well with frozen spots still inside. Anyway, fabulous recipe!!5 stars

Hi Luna,

Thank you for your question.
For the IP, turning on or off the heat doesn’t matter as the keep warm mode will not kick in well after pressure is released.

Please take care & have fun cooking
Jacky

I imagine the extra heat makes a difference! Thank you in advance.

Hi Shannon,

thank you for your question. The recipe will not work if the pieces of chicken are frozen together 🙁

Take care & have fun cooking

This recipe is incredibly easy using a few ingredients normally found in the kitchen. This will definitely be my go-to recipe for frozen chicken breasts!5 stars

After being so hit or miss drying out when doing a batch without an actual recipe, I tried the Amy + Jacky instructions tonight. My chicken was mostly frozen so followed the frozen method for 3 min, NPR 18. Chicken came out 165° exactly. (Pic after it was shredded a little – the pot didn’t do this).

So excited to have edible chicken for quick meals. Chicken is the food I cook most and unless I’m following a recipe it’s always been bad. I just like plain chicken a lot when I meal prep so I can do different things with it so will keep using this. Next time I’ll do the Zero min with non-frozen.

But this time I’m doing a chicken salad with egg and avocado with it. It’ll be perfect!5 stars
