The flavour is perfect! Even my picky husband and kids loved it. My broil function on my oven doesn’t let me set a temp, just HI and LOW. My skin didn’t end up crispy because I used HI and almost burned the whole thing (user error 100%). Next time I will broil it on LOW. Thank you for this recipe. I will definitely make it again soon!

Is there any way to make this with sliced pork belly? Our packages from the butcher are presliced, slightly thicker than thick bacon slices.

Hi Saki,

thank you for your kind words and question 🙂

You will want to partially submerge the pork in the cooking liquid. The pork meat will have a bit of the “overnight porky taste”, but it will work fine.

Hi, I made this recipe and it was amazing! I would like to cook for my family too. If I want to cook more porks, is it ok to pile up porks inside pressure cooker? Also, can I pressured cook one night before and keep them in fridge after cook, then next day bake in outdoor grill? Thanks!

I made this for dinner tonight and it was delicious! Thank you for such clear instructions. I had it under the grill for a bit longer than specified to get it how I wanted. When I brought it out I noticed the ‘crackling’ felt soft and I was disappointed BUT once it had rested and cooled it was just perfect!

I use a Russell Hobbs 11in1 pressure and slow cooker (doesn’t have the airfryer function unfortunately but still a gadget that I find very useful).

It was very flavorful. I prefer more spicier so will add chili paste or some other spice. I used my Simply Ming pressure cooker, set it for 18 minutes. It was very tender. This pressure cooker doesn’t have a low or hi. Then afterwards I used my Colstar round air fryer & after 20 minutes it still wasnt as crispy as it should be. I will next time use my Karorik air fryer oven which does a better job at Crispin evenly. Thanks for recipy.

I made this recipe tonight, 1st time cooking pork belly. Other than being a bit too salty for us, it was absolutely delicious!!
