This pork bone broth soup recipe was Ah-mazing and super easy in the instant pot. I even dried my own tangerine peel for this since there’s like no Asian markets where I can find Chenpi in Palm Springs 😅 Also substituted with pork ribs5 stars

I always thought I’m way too full I don’t want to drink soup or I don’t want it cause I don’t like what’s in it. But after living solo in Stoon for six years, I constantly want my parents’ homemade soup especially since it’s hard to find here. I’ve been to a couple of restaurants where they offered it but unfortunately they closed down due to slow business.

so I’ve looked up various methods of making soup and seems like instant pot is the magical tool! I immediately bought one when it was on sale then continue to look for a recipe using instant pot and I finally found one. This recipe was so simple and straightforward that I made it in one try and LOVED IT! As my first try with instant pot, I give myself a B since it’s an improvement but still not as good as my parents yet

In conclusion, appreciate what your parents make for you cause you’ll realize how much you miss it when you don’t have it.5 stars

The hardest part was cutting up the corn on the cob haha 🌽. The Key is to saute for 10-15 min at the end to boil off some of the liquid! 🔑 This one is a keeper!5 stars

A couple of modifications to A & J’s pork bone soup…I used oxtail, because that is what I had available, and no orange peel because I could not find any. Still really delicious though.5 stars

It is so soothing and reminds me of the home having soup before or after dinner. My mom still makes soups frequently. I can expect to have soup every time I go over to her house.

I ‘loosely’ based this on A+J’s recipe since I use what I have. Pretty much a big chunk of carrot, some celery and pork bones. The soup still tastes wonderful. My daughter picked out all the carrots (with some soup) and by the second day, the soup was all that remained for me to slurp up. 😆5 stars

Now I can make it taste just as good as my parents’ with the IP! My boys love meat so I use pork ribs instead of bones. Add 1 tomato after the pressure cooking is done for tanginess.5 stars
