I had a 4# chuck roast, followed the recipe for 3# (added a little beer to it however.) and sliced 1# and marinated it in lime juice, cumin and oregano for Arrachera tacos later in the week!

You’ve done it again! You made me look like a pro! I had the entire family for dinner and everyone loved these tacos. They were a delicious hit. Just like the ones you get in a restaurant but better. I followed the recipe and left out the fish sauce because I didn’t have any. These tacos will impress anyone and make you look like a pro cook. Thank you!

Recipe is perfect and I can’t wait to make it again! There is so much flavor and everyone loved it! I had a hard time finding the New Mexican chiles so I put an xtra ancho. I used all chuck roast and it was still so good! Next time I will try different meat cuts! Thank u for this!

As always, your recipes are perfect and make me look like a gourmet chef! I made this last night without Chile de árbol, as we don’t like excessively spicy dishes. We do like medium spicy, but this was very mild for us. If I want to make this a medium spice, should we use 1/2 of Chile de árbol, or is there some other chili that would work better? Thank you!

This recipe is out of this world! My nephew and I made it for a family gathering and everyone was so impressed. The depth of flavor is amazing – we did add chipotle pepper for a bit of heat – perfect!! Since then every visit to a Mexican restaurant, my sister orders birrias tacos…then calls me to tell me they aren’t as good as mine. Silly girl – I told her she needs to follow Amy & Jacky! You guys are the best! Always my first stop when looking for amazing recipes and you never disappoint. 🙂
